Delete your Notanai account
You can delete your Notanai account and the information that comes with it at any time. Deleting is free.
In the Notanai app
Open the app and go to More > Account > Delete my account. We ask for a code we text you, or your password, to make sure it's you.
Mira stops answering your calls right away (your calls ring your own staff line, as when Mira is paused). Your account is deleted 14 days later. Until then you can change your mind in the same place: press Cancel deletion and everything goes back to how it was. We text you the date.
What we delete
- Your logins: the owner's and your staff's sign-ins, and every phone signed in to the Notanai app
- Your contact details: your email, your mobile and your business phone numbers
- Your customers' details: names, phone numbers, addresses and notes on orders and bookings
- Call transcripts and callers' phone numbers
- The texts and emails we sent for your business
- The business description you typed to set up Mira
- Your saved card (we stop charging it at once)
- Your Notanai phone number stops answering at once and is released after 30 days
What we keep, and why
The law asks us to keep some records for tax and legal reasons. We keep them with contact details masked (an email becomes o***@example.ca, a phone number shows only its last 4 digits):
- Invoices, payments and the billing ledger, for tax records (generally six years)
- The Service Agreement you signed
- Our security log of who changed what and when, with emails and phone numbers masked
- Order and call amounts and minutes your invoices are based on, without names or phone numbers
- Your menu
Please turn off call forwarding on your business phone once your account is closed (dial *73 if it forwards every call, or ##002# on most cell phones), so calls ring at your business again.

We check that the request really comes from the account's owner (we call or text the number on the account) before we delete anything, and we answer within 30 days. You can also email privacy@notanai.ca. Read our Privacy Policy.
